Sundays at Living Hope
We gather to worship, and that means to “esteem worth.” All of us ascribe worth to something or someone, but when we gather together on Sundays, we take a moment to ascribe worth to our God through the person and work of Jesus Christ. He is worthy of all of our worship. Join us for our service at 10 AM.
What to Expect
We gather for spiritual renewal as we sing, pray, and hear from God’s Word.
The point of gathering together is to encourage our hearts to keep looking at Christ for the rest of the week, but while we gather, we are reminded how much we need him and be assured of His presence when we sing, spend time in corporate prayer, hear a message from the Bible, and then being dismissed with God’s Blessing (Benediction).
We gather to remember Christ’s sacrifice.
Christ meets us as we remember His body was broken for us, and His blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins.
We gather to have fellowship.
As we renew our faith in Christ, we know that we are designed for life together, and on Sundays, we get to express that life with one another in joy, affection, care, support, encouragement, and, most of all, sharing a meal.
We gather to be sent out as empowered witnesses for Christ.
Our gathering’s sole purpose is to join in God’s redemptive purposes for the world around us. As we are encouraged by the Glorious Gospel of grace, we are sent out to love and proclaim the truth of Christ to the people around us.
If you cannot join us in person, we try our best to record messages from Sundays on our YouTube channel when we can; feel free to check it out; however, what would be much better is “pick up the Bible and read” as St. Augustine has said and let it be the source of (re)discovering grace and truth for your lives. If you don’t have a Bible, contact us, and we can get it for you!
